Don’t Pay to Borrow E-Books. Your Public Library Gives You Access for FREE!

frugal-informer-free-ebooksDo you love to read books?  Do you love to be able to read them on your e-reader or tablet?  You may have heard of companies like Oyster, Scribd or a little company named Amazon that will eagerly sell you an all-you-can-read monthly subscription to read their e-book collections.  But did you know that there is a place that has a more extensive e-book collection you can access… for FREE?  That place is your public library.

For many years public library systems have been working on building their e-book collections and you will find that there are e-books that you won’t find on the pay sites.  Sure there are due dates and sometime waiting queues as when you borrow physical library books, but hey, it’s free and there’s tons to choose from. The Pima County Library System is no exception.  If you haven’t check it out for ebooks, yet, do it now!

Don’t have a library account yet?  Go to your closest public library and sign up!
